Worked with management to position the product and company for growth in the very competitive market of Inspection equipment. Wrote a Technology Assessment for review by the Board of Directors. The company has since been sold to Photon Dynamics in July 2002.
Baldwin & Clarke, Manchester, NH ‚ Venture Capital Firm. Assists with technology assessment and evaluations of potential investments. Board member on several companies for which BCCF had raised Capital.
Juki Automation Systems, Raleigh NC ‚ A high speed pick and place equipment manufacturer based in Japan providing equipment for the Electronics Assembly Market. JAS was the exclusive distributor for the US and Europe and maintained offices throughout region. Ken was Vice-Chairman until JAS was merged with Juki Japan in 2001.
Meta Controls, Raleigh, NC ‚ Manufacturer of Motion Control and Vision Inspection technology for the Electronics Assembly and Semiconductor Markets. Company was merged with Adept Technology in 2002.
The Knight Group, Haverhill, MA ‚ A designer and builder of technology for the SMT and Semiconductor Markets. Knight Group developed a solder ball dispenser and engaged Riverview to find a strategic partner to license the technology.
Ultrasonic Systems, Inc, Haverhill, MA - Manufacturer of Ultrasonic Spray Flux technology for Wave solder machines. Developing a new automated precision Spray Coating system using Ultrasonic Technology for launch release in early 2003.
VI Technology, Yverdon, Switzerland ‚ Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) equipment and Laser Rework Systems Company for the Electronics Assembly market. Ken was Co-Founder and Managing Director until merged with Thermatech in 2001.
