Prior to creating Riverview Partners, Ken was a co-founder and President of Camelot Systems, Inc. In 1987 Camelot Systems pioneered a breakthrough technology and created a market for Automated Liquid Dispensing Systems. Camelot grew from a start-up, with first year's sales of $50,000 to a thriving $55,000,000 business in 1996. Camelot had over 200 employees located in offices throughout North America, Europe and Singapore. Camelot won the prestigious "Inc 500" award for "Fastest Growing Companies in America" three times during the 1990's. In July of 1996, Camelot Systems, Inc. was acquired by Cookson Electronics.
Ken is the author of several technology and management articles written for the electronics and circuit board assembly industry. His articles have been published in well known industry trade journals such as Circuits Assembly, Electronic Packaging and Production, and Surface Mount Technology. Ken has spoken at many industry trade shows around the world offering seminars on technology solutions. Cavallaro is also the editor and publisher of Entrepreneurial Secrets, an Entrepreneurs guide to running a successful company and The Entrepreneur's Newsletter.
Ken has been a member of many corporate Boards of Directors including many of the companies noted on Riverview's client list. Ken currently is also a member of the Board of Directors of Nextek, a Huntsville, AL contract manufacturer of high technology SMT circuit board assemblies.
Ken received his Bachelor of Science degree in Management and Marketing from Bentley College in Massachusetts in 1983.
